Unsong

A book written - or at least posted - over the course of a year and a half, in blog format. I switched back and forth between listening to Matt Arnold’s podcast-format audiobook and reading the text, depending on what I was doing.
A story of an apocalypse, set in an alternate-history world where Apollo 8 cracked the crystal sphere around the world. Turns out kabbalah is real, angels are real - and pretty much as ignorant about god as anybody else - and that crystal sphere was kind of important to keep the world running stably.
Lots of puns. Lots of terrible terrible puns. Story felt a little rushed at times, and a little slow at others, but not too much in either direction. Overall, an interesting story, a fun read, with a sufficiently satisfactory ending.
